Paving roads has never been an easy job. This occupation has changed very little over the past couple centuries. Materials have evolved, sure, but the technique has made little progress- it is still the same strenuous work to lay down a brick road by hand, one stone at a time. RP Systems strives to change that with their latest innovation, The RPS6 RoadPrinter. Naturally, being a tech blog we are enamored by anything that has “printer” in the title but the RPS6 is pretty impressive, while utilizing a fairly simple technique.
There are not a ton of frills with this machinery, the moving stand uses gravity to pull the arranged bricks that workers organize on top, to the bottom while moving forward.
