We’ve already seen so many camera drones around it was about time to see a phone drone. PhoneDrone Ethos is exactly what we would hope it would be, and it’s a complete success in Kickstarter – its campaign already passed its US$100,000 goal with still 34 days to go.
The device has a number of features that make it quite interesting compared to traditional drones. The first being that it uses the phone’s processor and multiple sensors, making it cheaper. The user gives commands via application and chooses a flight path for the drone to follow autonomously, or they can use another phone to control it remotely.
